NewsNo R-Word Week Wrap-UpMarch 05, 2010 We have had a blast this week promoting the No R-Word Campaign. We visited College View Middle School (Go Vikings!) and spoke to 7th and 8th grade classes about the importance of inclusion and respect. These young people had some great insights and questions about people with disabilities and showing them respect. Also, tons of our friends on Facebook helped Spread the Word to End the Word by using the no r-word button as their profile picture. (Thanks FB, Friends!) Even though this Wednesday was the Official No R-Word Awareness Day, we hope that awareness continues to grow and that more and more people realize the importance of using respectful language.
